The Sound Barrier MG412P is a passive, two-way system featuring a 12-inch low-frequency woofer and a high-power 1” exit HF driver. Its compact size is not representative of its high output capability and exceptional fidelity. As a stand-alone loudspeaker, it has a variety of professional applications — from small-medium scale sound reinforcement, AV presentations, and HoW to distributed systems, front fill/infill, and use as a stage monitor. The cabinet generates 1200W of peak output power with a frequency response of  50Hz-19KHz and a wide sound dispersion pattern (90° x 60°). The system may be operated in full range or bi-amp mode utilizing the high-current, recessed switch mounted on the rear panel input plate.

The Sound Barrier MG412P is constructed with Birch plywood that is designed to resist distortion and help the speaker provide outstanding full-range sound at all volume levels. With the 35mm pole socket, integrated flying/suspension points, and monitor wedge cut it can be mounted as a satellite speaker, flown for fixed installations, or used as a floor monitor. A top handle makes it easy to transport to and from gigs.
